MAGNETIC BEARING

The Magnetic Bearing is a magnetically levitated shaft that is free to rotate. The shaft has two permanant magnets mounted on each end. The housing has both a permanant magnetic filed and electromagnetic fields. There is a variable reluctance detection coil and an electromagnetic forcer coil embedded in the housings. There is a electronic closed loop variable reluctance position detection and electromagnetic force rebalance cricuit.
